SHOOT & EDIT WORKSHOPS
9.30am to 3.30pm
LEVEL : INTERMEDIATE +
It's like riding a bike, you are ready to take the stabilisers off, but it's great to know there is a steadying hand behind you, just in case !!!
We have the dogs and the props and will set up the shots, you take the pictures. If the weather allows, we will work outside with natural light, but if not, then we can move inside for some studio work.
After a spot of lunch we will spend the afternoon with you editing your own work, whilst we are on hand to help out with any sticky issues or to offer tips and hints on workflow and methods.
This course is ideally suited to those photographers who are happy to use their AV/TV settings or are working in Manual, and who are confident in their ability to capture a good standard of image.
We will be editing in Lightroom and /or Photoshop.

What does a typical day cover ?

- Mirror, Signal, Manouvre - or in photography speak - Lighting, Settings, Composition
- Practical Photography - portraits and action shots using natural light. (Flash courses are also available)
- Review of photographs
- Workflow and Processing (Full days are also available).

ON-LINE MENTORING
More and more webinars and online tutorials are becoming the "norm".
A great form of learning for everyone, which can watched and rewatched.
But sometimes you need something more specific, something just for you, to be able to have a conversation and discuss a certain problem or learn a new technique at your own pace. To continue your 1-2-1 learning.
Using Zoom or Skype or even if you would just prefer a chat over the phone, we can look at moving you and your photography to the next level.

- Practical Photography - from stunning portraits and action packed shots using natural light - we will look at settings and techniques (Flash courses are also available)
- Black Dogs - lets throw a black dog in for good measure !!!
- Review of a selection of photographs (time allowing)

PORTRAITS USING NATURAL LIGHT
& INTRODUCTION TO "OFF CAMERA" FLASH
A full day runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm
LEVEL : INTERMEDIATE
This course is ideally suited to those photographers who are happy to use their AV/TV settings or are working in Manual.
What does a typical day cover ?
- It's always good to check the basics - so a quick look at our Exposure triangle
- Knowing your own camera.
- Mirror, Signal, Manouvre - or in photography speak - Lighting, Settings, Composition
- Practical Photography - Learn to create beautiful natural light portraits in/around the barn. Learn to use your flash "off camera" to create clean, crisp images with a "studio" feel to them.
- Black Dogs - lets throw a black dog in for good measure !!!
- Review of a selection of photographs (time allowing)

ALL ABOUT THE "WOW"

For those with a good level of understanding in both lightroom and photoshop - this is a Photoshop workshop.
Learning how to use layers and textures, change backgrounds, create frames and much more.
As with all our workshops days are tailored to each individuals requirements.
DELVING DEEPER

For those with a basic understanding of LR and or Photoshop. Take your editing to the next level.
A quick photography session either indoor or outdoors then the rest of the day spent editing.
