About Us !
It's not all about location, location, location ...
... but it most definitely helps !
Everyone has a story, and this is ours.......
Workingline Images is based on the edge of the Peak District in South Yorkshire. With a lifetime of talking "dog" we aim to capture your best friend in a range of stunning images, from traditional portraits to fun filled action shots taken out on the moors.
Most dogs pretty soon realise that our pockets are loaded with something nice to eat and that we probably smell more dog than human.
I'm a qualified photographer and a member of The Guild of Photographer and a member of The Societies of Photographers and regularily achieve awards in competitions.
My life is stuffed full to the brim with dogs of varying shapes, sizes and ages. They bring joy, happiness, frustration and love but the chances are, I am going to be around longer than them. My passion for photography grew from the need to make sure I had pictures of them all.
As dog lovers we are always popping out the phone to capture that silly, wild windblown face or the upturned nose that is snoring on the sofa (see I do it as well), but these aren't the memories you want to hang on your walls, or have safely recorded in a book and that is where I can help you.
I also love to share my knowledge and run not only dog photography workshops to teach you how to capture your own dogs but also editing workshops to help you create the best images possible.
With my knowledge, understanding and love of dogs, I take the time to capture compelling portraits, awesome actions shots that you will treasure for a lifetime.
We have recently moved to a fabulous and quirky Ranch, literally "just down the road" which oozes character and offers us some stunning new settings. The studio is now warm, dry and dog friendly meaning we can shoot Portraits all year round without worrying about the weather. We still have a barn door and a couple of new doors as well !!
There is a secure grass area where your dogs are completely safe to have a sniff and a mooch about while settling down after their journey and the Studio is also 100% dog friendly.
15 minutes from the M1 and 10 minutes from the A628 (Woodhead Pass) we are perfectly situated on the edge of the Peak District Moors in South Yorkshire.
Here are some links to small businesses and websites whose products we use on a regular basis and whom we are happy to give the Workingline seal of approval.
I have been working with Pandora from Pandora Images and Going Digital Yorkshire for a number of years now and we have a fabulous time teaching dog photography workshops and also working together on smaller projects that need an "extra pair of hands".
She is a superb photographer and teacher and offers starter courses such as "getting of auto" via GD Yorkshire and also her own 121 Equine photography workshops.
